How is mehndi night henna priced?

By length and the number of people. Fingers to wrist is R100 a side, above the wrist R150, mid arm R250 to R350 and above mid arm R450 to R500. Kids under 12 are R50 a side.

Can the bride's henna be done at the mehndi night?

Yes. Bridal henna is best applied one to two days before the wedding, so a mehndi night in that window is the perfect time.

Can children have henna at the mehndi night?

Yes. Small, simple designs for children under 12 are R50 a side. Ask for a patch test if their skin is sensitive. People with G6PD deficiency should not use henna.

How should guests prepare?

Come with clean skin and no lotion or oil on the hands, and keep the paste on as long as possible afterwards for the deepest colour.
