Made for the big day

Bridal henna is drawn one to two days before the wedding, so the stain reaches its deepest colour on the day itself. Your outfit, length and pattern are planned together first.

Watch your stain deepen

Natural henna changes colour for two days after the paste comes off. Tap a shade to see each stage.

Peak colour, a deep reddish-brown. Plan your wedding or event for this point, about two days after application.

For the deepest stain

  1. Come with clean skin, no lotion or oil
  2. Keep the paste on as long as you can
  3. Stay warm, because warm hands stain deeper
  4. Scrape the paste off instead of washing it

To make it last

  1. No water for 12 to 24 hours
  2. Balm or coconut oil before showering
  3. Skip scrubs, pools and sanitiser
  4. Wear gloves when cleaning

Questions, answered

Anything else? Add it to your booking request.

What does "a side" mean?

One side of the hand, either the palm or the back. Both sides of one hand count as two sides.

Why do prices vary?

The length sets the starting price and the pattern decides the rest. A fine, detailed design takes longer than a simple one, so send a photo for an exact price.

When should I book bridal henna?

As early as you can for wedding season and anything near Eid. Bridal henna is best applied one to two days before the wedding so the colour peaks on the day.

How long does natural henna last?

Usually one to three weeks. Palms and fingertips hold the colour longest.

Why is my henna orange?

Fresh natural henna is bright orange when the paste comes off. It deepens to a rich brown over 24 to 48 hours.

Is natural henna safe?

Natural henna is plant-based. Ask for a patch test if your skin is sensitive. People with G6PD deficiency should not use henna.
